Big opening in town

Joi seara am aflat că vineri se deschid magazinele grupului Inditex. Am bănuit că acest lucru se va întâmpla la ora 10 o dată cu deschiderea Mall-ului şi mă gândeam că la 10.30 mai am şanse să intru în magazine:) Ajunsă acolo domnul de la pază mi-a comunicat că magazinele se deschid abia la ora 13. Mom, still my biggest sponsor, a dat ok-ul pentru a reveni. Am avut la dispoziţie o oră jumătate de excitement.
Preferatul meu e Bershka, brand despre care mă documentasem cu ceva timp în urmă când am primit un anunţ ejobs în care era menţionat ca parte a grupului Inditex şi despre care nu ştiam. Până să deschidă ei magazinul oficial eu deja mi-am achiziţionat o pereche de harem jeans from the black market by Bershka. În ziua deschiderii am mai găsit o pereche de blugi turqoise şi o pereche de colanţi latex type...which seem a bit slutty for the county we live in, but thet definitely remind me of the hot Swedish girls...so, I dare all the brave girls to wear them. They are a must have...so sexy!!!

Thoughts

I am not an active blogger as you can all see...maybe i shouldn’t even call myself a blogger of any type. I like writing but sometimes I feel that if I write here I would show too much of myself. And I am not sure I would like that. But tonight, after 2 episodes of One Tree Hill – favorite show at the moment, I feel like telling you what friendship means to me. I will begin this by saying that I don’t have many friends. I used to be frustrated many times coz girls don’t like as a close friend, but I got used in time with the win-win situations of having someone to share a gossip with, shopping with, going out for a drink, giving or asking for advice, having someone to call when feeling like sharing stuff. I realized that many of us do this…is it good or is it bad? Still wondering…are we even looking for real friendship? I sure am. And by friendship I mean: trusting someone in every situation, knowing that the first think that he/she thinks of when u have a problem is a way to fix it, the need for his smile and laughter. A friend is someone that makes you feel good about yourself and in the same time makes u motivated to become better. A good friend is the one u like taking photos with and like looking at them after. U also have to enjoy spending time with ur friends and not being afraid of telling them anything that is crossing ur mind. U have to be sure that they won’t judge you…they are just there to listen and express their honest opinion. I have just a few friends and I am glad I have them…coz life would be more difficult without them. And I am also happy to say that the most important of them is my Mother…I am thankful for everything she did for me all these years of our lives together and I hope I will find the way to show her that, coz I feel I didn’t do that yet.
I miss my friends from abroad!

Today I feel like taking a long walk in town coz I like the way it looks during autumn. At the end of the season I see it as being too sad to walk coz the trees look weird without their leaves. Hope Alex feels like walking too. He might be surprised that I plan doing this today:) But as the very used expression says - Eco is a cool trend! and I like to follow the trends sometimes...Maybe I won't drive today. That means that I'm not going to school as well. I'll see what's gonna happen...wish u all a wonderful day!

I am still around

I started my master studies a week ago – Adverstising and Sales Promotion at West University of Timisoara. After one week of courses and seminars I realize I like Consumer’s behavior – one of the objects I will study this semester. Don’t know how interesting the other classes will be. Anyway, I will do my best to learn as much as I can from my master, especially coz it is an important financial investment and coz I wanna be a better communicator.
Today I got the result for the first round of recruitment for AIESEC Timisoara. Tomorrow I will have the group interview. The reasons I applied for this is the fact that the organization turned out to be serious, develops interesting projects and I felt sorry I didn’t apply sooner. I got the chance to see this in one of their projects – Marketing School – which came right after the Olympics of Communication and gave us the chance to keep ourselves in shape while using our communication skills. Me and Ade where in the same team and we worked for an internet marketing firm from our town – Webness. It was a good experience and I’m sure AIESEC has more to offer. And I wanna get involved coz right now I am not planning to get a full-time job. Hope I’ll be a good prey and then be in the same team with the AIESEC hunters. I'll let you know what happens next and how the interview goes.

Emotiile interviului

Va intrebati de ce nu mi-am pus pe blog parerile despre aventura interviului? Sunt mai multe motive: nu sunt blogger first of all...a real one, am fost ocupata sa popularizez faptul ca suntem in finala, am avut un program tare incarcat in zilele acestea, mi-a luat destul de mult timp sa ma refac dupa drumul la Bucuresti. Fuga dupa tren m-a epuizat. Nu imi mai place cu trenul deloc...si ma mai asteapta cateva drumuri la Bucuresti...I don't sound very much excited about it, but actually I am very happy we are gonna work for a real client. Partea cu trainingul si briefingul mi-a placut si anul trecut. Am lucrat pentru Coca-Cola si ne-am intalnit cu Andreea Leonte de la McCann...cu care ne-am inteles bine. Sunt curioasa cine va extrage clientul si care va fi clientul anul acesta. Sper sa ajungem si la conferinte. Suna interesant! Marius a reusit sa ma convinga!
Sa nu uit...parca am uitat de drumul aiurea cu trenul pana in capitala cand am vazut ce primire ni s-a facut...Multumim, Marius! Chiar am avut mai mult elan la interviu...poate prea mult, pentru ca mi-am dorit sa imi spun partea prea repede...Scuze, Vlad! Promit ca la prezentarea finala sa te las si pe tine sa vorbesti!

In ajun de preselectie

Zilele astea lucram la prezentarea campaniei noastre. avem intalniri mai matinale, dar ne straduim sa ajungem la timp...sau sa ajungem:) scuze pentru azi! am cam adormit...maine ajung cu siguranta la timp, desi in seara asta mergem la UVT party, glamorous student night:), black and white party, concert Vama si Alex la club Heaven...acolo unde mie imi place baia:) si animatorii...oops:) btw, vorbeam despre un singur eveniment pentru seara de asta.

Astazi am scris o parte din studiul meu de caz on adidas...Ma atasez tot mai mult de brand. Vreau tenisi adidas...desi am pus ochii ieri pe unii Puma...tot in familie merge profitul:) Oamenii spun ca trebuia sa o consult pe mum in alegerea temei de licenta. Sigur si-ar fi dat seama de consecinte si m-ar fi indrumat spre o alt tema:) sau nu...Sper sa nu fac prea mari gauri in buget datorita atasamentului fata de unele branduri. Am gasit foarte multe evenimente super tari in care s-a implicat adidas de-a lungul timpului si campanii neconventionale. Voi avea un studiu de caz frumos pentru licenta.

Ce mai fac eu...

In ultimele zile m-am intalnit aproape zilnic cu fetele si cu Vlad...care inca mai rezista cu noi. Poate in final o sa fie el cel care ne contacteaza sa ne vedem:) waiting for that day...la intalnirea de azi am ras...poate eu cam mult. am stat in aer liber si asta ne-a facut si mai spirituali si cu mai mult chef de munca, right? maine ne vedem din nou...ieiiii...sper sa nu uit sa imi iau de la secretariat carnetelul ala pentru reduceri la biletul de tren pentru ca altfel iar trebuie sa faca presiuni fetele ca sa il obtina pentru mine:) hai ca am invatat ceva de anul trecut. inca ne gandim daca plecam duminica sau luni spre Bucuresti. vom stabili si in functie de programarea care va fi facuta pentru echipele de la Advertising.
Alte chestii pe care le fac zilele astea...ma intreb daca sa revin la culoarea de par cu care am obisnuit lumea timp de la 6 ani sau sa ii sochez in continuare cu culoarea noua.
Imi caut materiale pentru lucrarea de licenta ... BRANDING SI MODA. Frumoasa tema,nu? Mie imi place si sunt sigura ca veti dori sa o cititi. Btw, cred ca m-a influentat putin in alegerea temei si cartea lui Ovidiu Buta.

Mi-a plăcut foarte mult această carte care cuprinde articole din diferite reviste (Elle, Cosmopolitan, Dialog Textil şi alte publicaţii) ale fashion editorului Ovidiu Buta. Lecturând m-am simţit ca şi cum cineva selectase pentru mine articolele interesante din mai multe reviste de modă. Am aflat foarte multe lucruri noi despre designeri celebri, apariţia unor trenduri, moda românească, ce înseamnă să fii fashion victim. Cartea m-a făcut să îmi doresc să aflu mai multe despre Fashion Industry şi să conştientizez importantanţa brandului. Nu vă aşteptaţi să găsiţi în carte vreo "reţeta succesului"...

A night out...with a part of TeaM'Saga

Eu si Ade am fost aseara in Heaven Studio la Glamorous Students' Night. Poate daca le ziceam numele petrecerii si celorlalti membri ai echipei am fi avut mai mult succes in a-i convinge sa ne insoteasca. Data viitoare folosim acest argument:)

In case you were wondering...muzica a fost buna, chiar si Ade a avut destul spatiu sa se desfasoare, animatorii bunoci si majoritatea celor prezenti chiar erau studenti. Numarul fetelor a fost clar mai mare decat cel al baietilor. Cred ca Heaven ar trebui sa faca si o seara cand baietii au intrarea libera:)

Lucram pentru Olimpiadele Comunicarii

Wheee...Am primit de lucru si am inceput sa lucram. Ieri a fost una din cele mai funny intalniri. Azi vom combina momentele funny cu ideile nostre foarte bune...legate de sarcina pe care o avem. Fraza anterioara parca e desprinsa dintr-o lucrare gen "10 pasi spre victoria la OC" sau "Cum sa lucrezi eficient pentru OC":) Anyway, intalnire in 20 min. Ajung la fix in cazul in care nu vanez prea mult un loc de parcare.

Postul din caiet

Avem membrul numarul cinci al echipe TeaM'Saga. Welcome to the crew, Vlad!! Am fost la scoala...de fapt hai sa folosesc prezentul...Sunt la scoala! si acesta este un post scris pe caiet. Spiritul de turma :) s-a facut simtit in randul cinci al amfiteatrului unde avem cursul de Tehnici de comunicare (partea introductiva - o parcurgem noi dupa...nu e big deal). Membrii turmei: Cari, Paula si eu. Cea care a dat startul scrisului pe posturi de mana e Cari zisa si trend-setter de blogosfera manuala (nu ca as cauta o scuza pentru activitatea asta ciudata). Paula a fost foarte dornica sa posteze un comment pentru postul nedigital al Carinei...ca un adevarat blogger ce este. Ca sa nu fiu mai uncool scriu si eu un post in tendinte. Carina parca scrie un capitol din romanul vietii ei, iar Paula se comporta de parca am vrea sa ii furam niste idei geniale. Tine mana pe post:). As vrea sa ii spun ca nu e nevoie sa faca asta pt ca oricum nu prea inteleg ce scrie.:)

Carina zambeste. Poate a ajuns la capitolul ,,Vara viitoare". Cred ca si-a dat seama ca este foarte aproape vara azi-dimineata cand nu si-a mai luat pe eao geaca groasa.

Dupa curs mergem la Carturesti la Ceainarie to spend some quality time. Fetele au acceptat invitatia mea frumos colorata. Ade nu a vazut-o si cum e ea mai fitoasa a raspuns negativ la sms. Ade, trebuia sa imi activez MMS-ul si sa iti trimit o poza a invitatiei. Nu ai fi putut sa refuzi.

Gata! Cred ca se termina cursul...

Being home

Nu stiu exact cate posturi vor mai avea referiri la timpul petrecut in Suedia...dar inca totul e foarte fresh in mintea si sufletul meu. Nu am facut foarte multe de cand am ajuns...dar incepe scoala peste o saptamana si revin la viata mea de student silitor:) haha! Astept mai mult sa incepem sa lucram pentru Olimpiadele Comunicarii decat sa merg la scoala pentru a participa la cursuri si seminarii. Sunt curioasa cine va fi membrul numarul cinci al echipei TeaM'Saga si imi doresc sa stabilim cat mai curand. Cred ca in curand vom incepe intalnirile noastre. Acum au terminat si fetele sesiunea. Si eu am dat un examen la inceputul sesiunii pentru ca mi s-a spus ca Suedeza nu imi poate fi recunoscuta, dar a fost ok...I aced it! Curand ar trebui sa stabilesc titlul lucrarii de licenta si sa incep munca la ea. Inca imi place tema - comunicare interculturala. Mi-am promis ca pana incepe scoala voi avea un plan de lucru.

Sunt cu gandul inca la Suedia si la inca macar o iesire la schi, dar astept semestrul al doilea si activitati interesante.

Long time, no post

I am back home... and it feels very good to be here. Even if I think of Sweden every day, I am happy to be back. It feels like the time spent in Sweden was a dream...a very nice one. I miss my friends...I miss Yulin a lot. Miss going to Akademien with the Vilhelmsro ppl, miss shopping in H&M with Yulin, miss cooking with her or watching her cook for us:)...She made me Tom Yam Soup addicted, but I still love her...coz she sent me cubes to do it myself. :) Since I came back I wnet skiing two times and now I am getting ready for my third trip...only if I get rid of the cold. Skiing is more fun everytime I go. Next winter season I might try snowboarding...cooler activity around here and I wanna be in the trends, rite? I started a Spanish course and now I know more than Tu tienes un culo delicioso, which is very good.:) Going back to bed...Coughing is not fun!!! :(

I feel the Christmas spirit already

and it is different than the "Romanian Christmas spirit"...everything is so nicely decorated...there are lights everywhere in the city (white ones, not very coloured like we have them home)...shops have changed their displays...and we went to a Christmas market. Yulin played the drums and some other instruments that I don't know how to call:) in an orchestra...I saw her performing for the first time.Big event!!!! there were lots of people in the street and carols, hot drinks everywhere...very nice! I am looking forward for the Christmas market in Goteborg (Dorinda, Yulin, Viviane, Janine and me). We are gonna drive in the morning and be back in time for the Christmas party in Akademien. We were told not to miss it, coz it's really good and since Swedes don't lie...

Lots of things going...

Last Wednesday Movember was fun...I will upload some photos later:) coz they will say more than I can describe. On Thursay I've been with Jan (my next door neighbour and one of my friends here) to Karlssons (Soprano Night with the Business students) - it was nice. On Friday me and Yulin had a very short trip to Huskvarna. Good things to see there: poneys on the street, houses built on high hills and that's about it...Then we returned to our favorite place:Jönköping and went for Fika at Larssons'(Yulin's contact family). This was the best part of our day...We drank glögg (hot wine with almonds and raisins and some other secret stuff) and we aet pepparkakor and Rosa's favorite sandwiches. Yulin played the piano for us, then we looked at some family photo album. The bonds in their family are very close. Rosa and Sven are grand-grand parents and they are very active and full of life. When I am with them I don't feel they are just some old people. They are very open and nice to us. I am glad I met them and get the chance to see a Swedish family. I can't wait for our next Fika.
Friday night....Bongo Bar...weird...Erik went to Australia.
Then Saturday Ceyhun's friends arrived from Istanbul so we had to give them a warm welcome party in Centrum Bar...which was better then other times, but still not interested in the "meat market"(this is how some ppl call Centrum).
Sunday deserves a special post...Later...now I have to go pay the internet and do some stuff

Wheee

Finished my first shit...Maybe I got to excited by the idea and I hurried the process a bit...but this is the result...Only showed it to two of my neighbours and they think I am on serious drugs and they suggested I should find other activities, like cleaning their rooms and stuff like this...not interested...I am in scrapbooking mood now! Don't care how long is gonna last. I enjoy it for now! Back to my Intercultural Communication essay...and then pre-party in Vilhelmsro and at 8 in Akademien to watch the guys getting rid of their ugly beirds for Movember (raising money for the prostate cancer in the campus area). We paid them to do this for a double purpose, right? Tonight they will look better for sure! Can't wait to see Mattias without the facial hair!!!!

Scrapbooking...my first try today

Scrapbooking will help me tell stories about me and what is happening to me in a visual an tactile way...I hope my skills will help me create almost the "stories" that I have in mind...like I imagine them...I will let you know soon if my creative mood is any good for my new activity. As predictable, my first work of art is going to be PINK!

I need more light...

It definitely gets dark too early here...today I had a project meeting with Linda from Australia, one of the coolest persons around. We will write an essay about Miscommunication in the intercultural context. So, we will do some research and then gather and make a very good work and get an A. After the meeting I went with Yulin to Nyfiket for fika (coffee break). Having fika is a very common activity here and Swedes drink big quantities of coffee. It was our first Fika in this place and we liked it. Its costumers are mostly "artists"...friendly people and not very expensive. I like having fika and I think from now on I will go in a new place every other time...They opened some new places in town the other days. So, we have alternatives

Locuiesc din august in Jönköping, orasul de care m-am atasat foarte mult. E un oras mic situat in jurul unui lac -Vättern, al doilea ca marime in Suedia. E mare si frumos si cateodata cu valuri. De la mine de pe geam il vad...asta in zilele cand e ceata si cand sunt acasa inainte de trei dupa-masa:) Zona orasului in care stau se numeste Vihelmsro si e o zona foarte linistita...prea linistita pentru o casa de studenti. Vecinii nostri sunt foarte batrani si mai avem in preajma lost of house for disabled people. Oricum daca busurile ar circula mai des aici ar fi perfect. Casa nu arata ca si caminurile noastre deloc...Am aproximativ 80 de vecini...Ii cunosc pe cei mai multi dintre ei, cu exceptia unor asiatici care nu socializeaza cu noi...no offence...Impart bucataria si baia de pe coridor cu inca 8 colegi, dar nu e stresant deloc. Ce facem aici cand nu suntem la scoala sau in club?Foarte multe chestii: lots of movies nights, gatim impreuna (best dinner Singaporean food - Yulin and coque-au-vin - Thomas), pre-parties and after-parties intotdeauna, zile de nastere, poker night, cereals breakfast party, taco night, batai cu zapada mai nou, decorating the common room cu cele mai ciudate chestii, project meetings and some other unexpected events. Petrecerile spontane sunt la ordinea zilei...dar e ok ca tinem cont cand se studiaza si cand nu. Pana acum nu m-a deranjat nici un chef. Dar in fiecare zi I get distracted de cate ceva sau cineva si asa ca studiul e mai ok la biblioteca...acolo you get distracted only my hot Swedish guys:))joking!!! Experimentez interculturalitatea in fiecare zi...sper sa nu creeze dependenta.:) Nu am aplicat pentru locul asta, dar am fost sa vizitez celalte doua case de studenti si nu cred ca mi-ar fi placut mai mult altundeva. Locuiesc cu people from Turkey, Slovenia, UK, Rusia, Polonia, USA, Canada, Germany, Japan, Singapore, Finlanda, Australia, Belgia, Elvetia and no Swedes. O sa imi lipseasca locul asta...

Dragele mele Cari, Paula si Ade, cred ca ati fost de multe ori dezamagite de blogul meu...sorry for that...I will keep you updated from now on...ma gandesc mult la voi!!!abia astept sa povestim! vreau detalii despre noile voastre activitati. sper ca la scoala nu va stresati prea tare!si mai sper ca veniti la banchet! facem impreuna cu Jurna?oricum ne petrecem noi impreuna...Swedish style:))Sper sa ne vedem before Christmas...nu stiu exact cand plec!M-am atasat mult de locul asta si de oamenii de aici. Mi-am facut cativa prieteni faini. Orasul e frumos si la scoala imi place...azi am avut ultimul examen si dup-aia voi mai avea numai proiecte si prezentari pentru Intercultural Communication and I will start also working for my Degree Paper. sounds like fun! Sper sa imi gasesc o tema faina, oricum imi place domeniul comunicarii interculturale, so I will be fine! I miss studying and doing some PR stuff. Found some good books here. Probabil ca le voi xeroxa pe cateva, daca nu apuca sa le termin. Biblioteca de aici e amazingggggg...deci chiar iti vine sa stai sa citesti. E un mediu perfect! I love it! Cred ca nu e nevoie sa explic lipsa mea in lumea blogurilor....anyway I am back with more energy than ever! Sper sa ma cititi pentru ca sigur voi fi mai activa...there were too many things happening asa ca nu stiam despre care sa mai scriu;) enough of an explanation?maybe not...I'll be back...Love ya!!!
